Student Christian Anzola, a dual-concentration student in Graphic Design and Digital Media, won three awards at the 2011 Charlotte Addy Awards. The Addy Awards recognize professional and student achievement in graphic design and advertising. Anzola won the Rising Star Award, a Gold Addy Award and a Gold Addy Student Award for two projects. Both projects focused on the application of design to publicize social issues, with one project being completed in Digital Media II and the other being completed in Graphic Design Projects. Anzola was also recently invited to exhibit his Graphic Design Projects poster series "Illegal Immigrants Have Dreams, Too" at the Levine Museum of the New South in Spring 2011.
