Visual artist and part-time lecturer, Indrani Gall, Department of Art & Art History, COA+A, will be exhibiting her project Conjoined Opposites at Elizabeth Dunlap Patrick Gallery, Winthrop University from February 13 – March 30, 2012.

Conjoined Opposites reflects Indrani’s thoughts on migration, identity, loss, memory and displacement. The work explores her shift from personal to global narratives examining stories of loss and displacement in social and political contexts; and the ability of the displaced to mend these opposites within themselves.
