Kim Rocyeun: Originally from South Korea, currently residing in Charlotte, this award-winning artist has exhibited widely and has received, extensive commentary and reviews of her work. Her pieces are created from diverse materials and encompass installations, drawings, paintings and photography. The work is about her personal narrative and identity in relation to others--she explores the differences between what is, what is expected and what is perceived, by her and those relating to her. Her exhibition will be held in the Upper Gallery in the Rowe Arts Building from March 19th - April 5th.
