Equipment Checkout

The following devices are available for checkout from the Architectural Resource Center (ARC) in Storrs 200. Equipment checkouts are available only during the business hours of the ARC and are only available to full-time CoA students, faculty, and staff. It is possible to reserve equipment in advance and reservations are advisable during the busier times of the semester.

You must have a valid 49er Student ID Card to check out any equipment. Fines are levied by the Library Information System (LIS) for any equipment that is returned late. Patrons are responsible for the equipment during the time period it is checked out and will be charged for equipment that is broken, damaged, stolen, or not returned.

Digital Cameras

There are 6 digital cameras available for check out. Each camera is contained in a hard case, which also contains a USB Card Reader (for transferring images), power cables, etc. Every effort has been made to include printed instructions with each camera. If the instructions are missing, information can be obtained online:

Digital Camcorders

Two digital camcorders are available for checkout.

Each camcorder is contained in a hard case, which also contains power cables, etc. Every effort has been made to include printed instructions with each camera.

 

A/V Computer Carts

There are several A/V Computer carts available for checkout. The carts are NOT to leave the Storrs building. Each, of two carts, has adigital video projector and a Macintosh computer. A third cart has a digital video projector and a VCR.
